You can pre-enroll by filling out the form below, which was prepared by the administrative office.

After you complete the form, the administration will contact you in September to schedule a colloquium with the Faculty Dean.

Pre-enrollment Form

All the procedures after that have to do with enrollment.

To register as an Degree Seeking the following documents must be presented:

• a photocopy of the student's passport or another document that gives their real first name and surname;
• original high school diploma along with a declaration stating that the diploma is valid for university admission in the country where the high school is located. This declaration, in Italian, must be given by the diplomatic authority or the Italian consulate from the country in which the diploma was awarded;
• a residency permit in Italy for students;
• a written declaration from the Superior authorising the registration of a religious student;
• a letter of presentation from the Pastor or from a church representative in which the non-religious student is declared to be suitable for registration, according to their moral conduct;
• a passport-size photograph;
• a completed application form, provided by the registrar's office;
• a written commitment of adherence to the specific institutional character of the Faculty on the form provided by the registrar's office;
• a receipt proving the first tuition payment was made;
• authorisation from the Dean.

Before they are registered, students from abroad must demonstrate a basic knowledge of Italian by passing an admissions exam, verifying that the student is capable of attending university courses.
The Faculty «Auxilium» runs an intensive Italian course during July, August, and September.

In order to register for a Master's Degree or Licentiate Course, students must have completed a Bachelor's Degree related to educational sciences (or another title which is deemed equivalent) with not less than 24/30 and deemed accredited.
Students who register for a Advanced Training Courses must also present their Bachelor's or Master's Degree.

Before they are registered, international students must demonstrate a basic knowledge of Italian by passing an admission exam, which verifies that the student is capable of attending university courses.

Students who already hold an academic qualification and wish to register for another degree, and students who have attended another university or higher institute of religious sciences, studying courses similar to the curriculum they wish to study, may receive validation of the exams already taken. This request must be addressed to the Dean (using the form located in the "Forms" section of the website), attaching the following, in addition to the documents required for registration above:

• certificate stating the courses attended with an indication of the total number of credits, exams taken and the marks achieved;
• documentation describing the content of the courses (programmes).

The Academic Council establishes, on a case by case basis, the year of study to which the candidate may register, and the exams which can be recognised as part of the new degree the student is seeking.
Applications for exemptions and exceptions of any kind relating to the academic curriculum must be addressed to the Dean and submitted to the registrar's office no later than September 30. These requests are subject to the payment of a special fee.

Those who intend to enrol in one or more courses at the Faculty, (no more than three per semester) as Visiting Students, must submit a request addressed to the Dean to the Registrar's Office, enclosing:

• a photocopy of their passport or other document indicating their real first name and surname;
• a passport-size photograph
• a receipt proving tuition payment has been made.

Visiting students are free to take the exams for all or some of the classes they have attended.

All students that enrol at the Faculty for whom Italian is not their mother tongue must have a knowledge of Italian to at least B2 level, according to the Common European Framework.
The Faculty organises Italian language classes, run by the Centro ProLingua, both on an intensive basis and lasting the full academic year.

• Preparatory intensive course
  for first-year students (from 15 July until the end of September). Duration: 210 hours.
  
  The entrance exam
  required for registration, takes place at the end of September. Level A2 (complete) of the Common European Framework (CEF).
  
  
• Courses during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year
  organised for small groups depending on their linguistic background and pace of learning.
  
  Level 1 exam
  to be taken at the end of the 1st academic year (120 hours - 6 ECTS credits) - Level B1 (Threshold level - complete) of the Common European Framework (CEF).
  
  Level 2 exam
  to be taken at the end of the 2nd academic year (60 hours - 4 ECTS credits) - Level B2 (first half of the level) of the Common European Framework (CEF).
  
  Level 3 exam
  to be taken at the end of the 3rd academic year (60 hours - 4 ECTS credits) - Level B2.2/C1.1 of the Common European Framework (CEF), with special focus on writing technique.
  

At the end of the course a certificate is issued recording the hours of lessons attended, the level reached and the exam marks. Failure to pass the exams may have various repercussions, in particular relating to enrolling on the following academic year, and could require students to retake the exam or attend intensive Italian courses to fill in the gaps in their knowledge.
All Italian language courses incur a set charge.
